Marlene A. Francis

Pawtucket – Marlene A. (Joseph) Francis, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 8, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late John A. Francis. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Iad and Albertine (Girourard) Joseph. Marlene’s family relocated to Pawtucket in the 1940’s and she graduated from the former Pawtucket East High School in 1950. She worked on the assembly line at Hasbro, Inc., for many years prior to working at Kmart, where she ultimately retired in 1997. Marlene loved planting her gardens annually, as well as watching old westerns and the Hallmark Channel. Spending time with her grandchildren was her greatest joy, as they kept her feeling young and full of life. Marlene’s presence will be dearly missed by her family, friends and the animals she loved dearly. She is survived by her four loving children, Deborah Corazzini of Providence, John G.
