McCormick, 49, of Manville, passed away at home on Thursday, January 28, 2021.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of Michael J. and Margaret M. (McGill) McCormick of Pawtucket.
Mark was a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, having earned his master’s degree in accounting.
He began his career in finance at Housing Systems Inc. in Pawtucket and was an adjunct professor at Johnson & Wales University.
In more recent years, Mark served as the deputy finance director for the City of Central Falls.
In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of music by Prince and a collector of Marvel Comics and superheroes.
Mark will be lovingly remembered by his family, dear friends and all whose lives he has touched over the past forty-nine years.
Besides his loving parents, he leaves a sister, Melissa M.
Mowry and her husband, William D.
Mowry of Pawtucket and many, many dear friends, and co-workers.
Relatives and friends may attend VISITATION to be held on Saturday, February 6th, beginning at 10 a.m. in St.
Joseph Church, 195 Walcott St., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered at 11 a.m.
Burial at Newell Burying Ground, Attleboro, will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Make-a-Wish Foundation, 20 Hemingway Dr., Riverside, RI 02915 would be appreciated.
