Marilyn E. Leddy

WINDHAM, ME - Marilyn Elizabeth (Johnson) Leddy, formerly of Seekonk, MA, passed away peacefully, in Windham, Maine, at the home of her daughter Beth on February 14, 2023. Marilyn was born on October 16, 1923. She was married to the love of her life Herbert Leddy for 56 years until his death in 2003. Marilyn and her war hero husband Herb had a wonderful life, having three children, eight grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren. Marilyn was very active in her church community at St. Mary’s Parish in Seekonk, MA. She was awarded the Marion Medal from the Diocese of Fall River for her community service. Marilyn was about faith and family, completely. Her efforts were all about family and church events, especially the holy days of Easter and Christmas. Her desserts of maids of honor, icebox cake, and crummie pie became extremely popular with her extended family, especially with her grandchildren.
