Marie R. Harris

Seekonk – Marie R. (Vallee) Harris, 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene J. Harris. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Leniere and Marieanna (Boucher) Vallee. Marie worked for many years as a waitress at Chelo’s Restaurant on Silver Spring Street in Providence. She was also a devout communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish (formerly St. Mary Church) on Coyle Drive in Seekonk, where she enjoyed attending Mass. Marie was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who enjoyed spending quality time with her beloved family. She also loved caring for her feline companion, “Jean Pierre” and taking leisurely drives in the snow. Marie will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past ninety years.
