Marie Y. "Doris" Laliberte

Pawtucket - Marie Y. “Doris” (Groleau) Laliberte, 86, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. Laliberte, Sr. for sixty-six years. Born in Manchester, NH, a daughter of the late Aime and Laura (Champagne) Groleau and stepdaughter of the late Elizabeth (Cox) Groleau, she resided in Pawtucket for the past fifty-five years. Doris was employed by Fram for fifteen years before retiring in 1981. She leaves a son, Francis J. Laliberte, Jr. of Lincoln; a sister, Norma McClellan of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Linda and Gary Laliberte and the stepsister of the late Ilene Grant. Her funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
