Attleboro – Marian Rae Fortier, 54, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of Arlene G. (Stanlewicz) Fortier of The Villages, Florida, and the late Raymond E.

Marian was a 1986 graduate of Stoughton High School, she attended the University of Bridgeport, where she studied interior design, Dean College, to peruse a degree in Early Education, Boston College, where she studied Theology and Philosophy, and finally University of Rhode Island for the Master Gardening Program.

Marian developed a passion for gardening and went on to design and install many intricate gardens at several of the region’s large estates.

In addition to her love of gardening and horticulture, Marian was very creative and artistic.

She also enjoyed the outdoors and loved hiking.

Above all else, Marian was a devoted and loving mom to her beloved son, Maximillian “Max” Auditore.

Marian’s compassion and kindness was not limited only to her family, but was also extended to her many dear friends, including Wanda, whom Marian was the caretaker and guardian of.

Along with Marian’s son and her mom, she leaves her fiancé, Joe Mancuso of both Attleboro and Dedham, Massachusetts; a brother, Stanley Fortier and his wife, Cathy, of Odessa, Florida; two sisters, Brenda Tourony and her husband, Gary, of Douglas, Massachusetts, and Sharon O’Dea and her husband, Joseph, of South Attleboro, and many nieces, nephews, and many beloved friends.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 8 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish, Coyle Drive, Seekonk.

VISITATION will be held on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
