Maria A. Vieira

Pawtucket – Maria A. (Vidal) Vieira, 95, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. She was the wife of the late Manuel Vieira. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Maria (Angelica) DaLuz. Maria moved to the United States in 1967 where she settled in Pawtucket and raised her family. She enjoyed cooking, watching wrestling and spending time with her family. She is survived by seven children, Jose Vieira of Attleboro, MA, Fernanda Medeiros, Esmeralda Morais and Manuel H. Vieira and his wife Natalie, all of Pawtucket, Carlos Vieira and his wife Tina of Pascoag, Jose F. Vidal of Bermuda and Alise Sousa of Sao Miguel, Azores and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private funeral arrangements will be held at the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Interment will follow in Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. TrippFuneralHome.com
