Maria A. Santos

Central Falls – Maria A. (DaSilva) Santos, 84, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Duarte M. Santos. Born in the Azores, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Maria (Furtado) DaSilva. Maria worked as a braider for Stretch Products, Pawtucket, until retiring in 1995. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family. She is survived by a daughter, Ana Santos, Central Falls; two sons, Rick J. Santos, Johnston and Edgar R. Santos, Central Falls; three sisters, Maria Camaro, Riverside, Germania Almeida and Margarida Pacheco, both of Canada; one brother, Jose DaSilva, Canada, and two grandchildren, Miranda and Kyle Santos. She was the sister of the late Conceicao Tavares.Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Spirit Parish, (St. Matthew Church), Dexter St., Central Falls. Interment...
