Maria Pacheco

Pawtucket – Maria (Medeiros) Pacheco, 98, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 25, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late John F. Pacheco. Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Ann (Rodrigues) Medeiros. Maria moved to Pawtucket in 1946 and was a longtime parishioner of St. Cecilia Church, Pawtucket. She worked as a seamstress for various clothing factories throughout the area until retiring. Maria was an amazing cook of authentic Portuguese cuisine and a very talented seamstress. Her love for animals and beautiful presence will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Emilia L. Paulin and her husband, Donald, of Pawtucket; a grandson, Donald John Paulin, also of Pawtucket; a great-granddaughter, Christiana Paulin of Cape Cod; a brother, Alden Carola of Virginia; a niece and several nephews.
