Maria T. Ferreira

Pawtucket – Maria T. (Aguiar) Ferreira, 80, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife of Armando Ferreira for nearly sixty-two beautiful years.

Born in Madeira, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Rosalina (Goncalves) Aguiar.

Maria immigrated to the United States in 1978 and settled in Pawtucket where she dedicated her life to tending to her home and family.

She worked as a machine operator at the former Conrad-Jarvis Corporation, Pawtucket, until her retirement.

Maria’s family was most important to her life, and spending time with them brought her the greatest joy.

Besides her loving husband, she is survived by two daughters, Ana Bibeault and her husband, David, of Seekonk and Elisabete Abreu of Pawtucket; two sons, Paul Ferreira and his wife, Sheila and Francisco Ferreira and his wife, Patricia, all of Pawtucket; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fernando Aguiar and his wife, Gladys, of Florida and Jose Manuel Aguiar and his wife, Isabel, of England; a sister-in-law, Fatima Aguiar and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Carlos Aguiar and Maria Jose Sousa.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St.

Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
