Cumberland – Maria Adelaide (Pina) DaSilva, 75, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Americo M. DaSilva, with whom she shared fifty-one years of love and devotion. Born in Casal Vasco, Fornos de Algodres, Portugal, Maria was the cherished daughter of the late Rafael and Fernanda (Paixão) Pina. Maria had a deep passion for gardening, lovingly tending to her flowers, and found joy in cooking and knitting. Above all, she found her greatest fulfillment in caring for and spending time with her granddaughters. She will be remembered for her strength and unwavering resilience throughout her long illness. Maria was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose warmth and love will be forever cherished by all those fortunate enough to have known her.
