Maria Brunson

Pawtucket - Maria (Lopes) Brunson, 62, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family. She was the companion of the late Julio C. Sequeira. Born in Sao Vicente, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Claudio M. Andrade and Inacia M. Lopes. Maria immigrated to the United States in 1996 and moved to New Jersey prior to settling in Pawtucket. She worked as a CNA at Mount St. Rita Health Centre, Cumberland, until 2013. Maria was a great cook, who loved spending time with her family and friends. Her bubbly personality and beautiful smile will be greatly missed by the lives she has touched over the years. She is survived by three loving children, Hamilton J. Lopes DePina of Cape Verde, Naira DeSousa and her husband, Alain, of Pawtucket, and Helio C.
