Maria Alice Antunes

Pawtucket – Maria Alice Antunes, 72, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 15, 2018. Born in Portugal, she was the daughter of Maria Delfina (Saraiva) Antunes with whom she resided and the late Joaquim Antunes. Maria came to the United States over forty-five years ago and settled in Pawtucket. She was a devout Catholic and always helped many religious organizations. Maria enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Besides her mother, she leaves a brother, Americo S. Antunes and his wife, Clarinda, of Smithfield; her nephew, Paul Antunes and his wife, Michele, of England; her niece, Jessica Gleason and her husband, Brian, of Virginia; two grandnieces, Adaline and Victoria Gleason and several cousins. VISITATION will be Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10: 30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 195 Walcott St., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Mt.
