Maria Dos Anjos Goncalves

Pawtucket – Maria dos Anjos (Cardosa) Goncalves, 86, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Tomaz G. Goncalves. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, a daughter of the late Joaquim and Maria da Luz Cardosa, she came to the United States in 1977 and settled in Pawtucket. Maria leaves a son, Ernesto Goncalves and his wife, Mary, of West Greenwich and a sister, Eliza Pinto of Pawtucket. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the CHEETHAM Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 32 Lawn Ave. Interment will follow at Mt.
