Maria C. Aguiar

Maria C. (Pacheco Cabral) Aguiar, 75, passed away on Sunday evening, October 9, 2022, at the Miriam Hospital after a recent heart attack. She was the beloved wife of the late Jose M. Aguiar for fifty-four years. Born in Ponta Delgada on the island of Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Jose J. and Maria C. (Pacheco) Cabral. Maria was born on May 14, 1947, and grew up on the island before immigrating to the United Sates in 1978 with her family. They settled in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and resided there for over forty years. She was employed as a machine operator at the former Rosbro Plastics, Co., Pawtucket, for seventeen years until her retirement. Maria was a dedicated mother and sister whose passion was her family. She loved to cook great Portuguese food while socializing with her family. Maria had a talent for sewing, knitting and crocheting.
