Pawtucket – Marguerite “Margie” M. (Lynch) Powell, 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 8, 2014.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Powell and William Cook, Sr.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Sarah (McGuinnes) Lynch.
Margie resided in Pawtucket most of her life until moving to St.
Petersburg, FL, twelve years ago.
She worked at Nyman Manufacturing, East Providence, for many years until her retirement.
Margie was a wonderful woman, full of strength, had a wonderful gift of humor and was very proud of her Irish heritage.
She greatly enjoyed playing BINGO and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Margie leaves three children, William Cook, Jr., of Swansea, MA, Patricia Davis of Moosup, CT and Kathleen Wunschel and her husband, Paul Donndelinger of North Attleboro; three grandchildren, Jodie Cook, Christopher Wunschel and Kevin Wunschel; a great-grandson, Bryce Davies; two brothers Edward and Gerald Lynch and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son Richard Cook and her siblings, Joan Taylor, Stephen Lynch, Jr., Gertrude Lynch and Neil Lynch.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.
Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment will follow at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
VISITATION will be Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m.
