Margaret "Maggie" S. Gardner-Giampietro

Lincoln – Margaret “Maggie” S. (Downey) Gardner-Giampietro, 73, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020 in East Providence.

She was the wife of the late Donald F.

Gardner and the late Thomas A.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Stephen W. and Genevieve L. (Laushway) Downey.

Maggie enjoyed volunteering her time at the Ronald McDonald House of Providence and Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, North Providence.

She enjoyed playing golf, traveling and spoiling her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Michael D.

Gardner and his wife, Merri-Ann, of Hope and Mark D.

Gardner and his wife, Bethany, of Seekonk, MA; five grandchildren, Corey, Dylan, Avery, Ava and Ella Gardner and a sister, Monica Baker of PA.

She was the sister of the late Maureen Brown.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence.

Interment will immediately follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.

VISITATION will be held on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. in WILLIAM W.
