Pawtucket – Margaret “Peggy” M. (Holleran) McIntyre, passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on her ninety-third birthday, Sunday, November 26, 2023.

She was beloved wife of the late James P.

A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late James and Catherine (Tuffy) Holleran.

Peggy worked for many years as an office worker for local utility companies until she started a family.

She was a longtime and devoted communicant of St.

Teresa Church in Pawtucket, where she was a past-treasure and member of the St.

Peggy enjoyed gardening, knitting, reading and spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren.

Above all she was devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past ninety-three years.

Peggy leaves seven children, Steven J.

McIntyre of Pawtucket, Jack McIntyre and Sue Gervais of Pawtucket, Nancy J.

Beattie of Seekonk, Sheila A.

Bozek of Seekonk, David J.

McIntyre and Diane Tordoff of Pawtucket, James P.

McIntyre and Patricia, of Pawtucket and Mary E.

Botelho of Seekonk; a daughter-in-law, Laura McIntyre of Santa Monica, CA; thirteen grandchildren, David, Scott, Kayla, Eric, Kaitlin, Sean, Cassandra, Ian, Michael, Vittoria, Emily, Amy and Ryan, and eight great-grandchildren, Michael, Gwen and Callan, Blake and Maeve, Ella and Isla and James Peter with another expected soon.

She was the mother of the late Brian D.

McIntyre and the sister of the late James and Thomas Holleran.

The funeral will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to VNA Hospice of Care New England, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886 would be appreciated.
