Margaret M. Matthieu

Pawtucket – Margaret M. (Greenhalgh) Matthieu, 97, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2014.

She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond S.

Margaret was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Cromie) Greenhalgh.

Margaret worked in sales at Apex in Pawtucket, for many years until her retirement.

She loved traveling and especially enjoyed traveling to London, England.

In her younger days, Margaret was avid ballroom dancer.

Above all she was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She leaves a daughter, Sondra L.

Fram and her husband, James of Pawtucket; two sons, Robert R.

Matthieu of Cumberland and Raymond S.

Matthieu, Jr. of Pawtucket; five grandchildren, Cheryl Sevigny, Kerrie Lubera, Scott Matthieu, Raymond S.

Matthieu, III, and Mark Matthieu; six great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Kaleigh Lubera, Ian and Neve Matthieu and James and Brandon Sevigny.

She was the sister of the late Joseph Greenhalgh and Patricia Lantagne.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in the Church of St.

Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave.

Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.

VISITATION will be Sunday 2 to 5 p.m.
