Margaret M. Brady

September 21, 1925 — July 11, 2017

Seekonk – Margaret M. (Flynn) Brady, 91, a retired educator, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017.

She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas J.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John P. and Bridget (Conway) Flynn, she had resided in Seekonk since 1954, and was a forty year summer resident of Chatham, MA.

Margaret was a 1943 graduate of St.

Xavier Academy and a 1947 Honors graduate of Bryant College.

She began her career as an educator on the faculty of Bryant College and upon her marriage she moved to St.

Louis, MO where she served on the faculty at Webster College.

Margaret later returned to Rhode Island and taught at Barrington High School for thirty-two years until retiring.

Margaret influenced the lives of her many students and relished encounters with them from time to time.

She was a member of the National Education Association.

Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother.

She loved her home in Chatham, MA and was looking forward to the upcoming season.

She will be deeply missed.

Margaret leaves two daughters, Margaret M.

Brady both of Brewster, MA; a son, Thomas J.

Brady, Jr. and his wife, Joan, of Seekonk; a sister, Virginia Flynn of Tockwotton on the Waterfront, East Providence; two grandchildren, Thomas J.

Brady, III of Los Angeles and Kristen J.

Brady of Seekonk and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Ann Langwell.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Cathedral of SS Peter and Paul, Cathedral Square, Providence.

Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.

VISITATION will be Sunday 2 to 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Our Lady of Loreto Church, 346 Waterman Ave., East Providence, RI 02914 would be appreciated.
