Margaret E. Bernard

Pawtucket – Margaret E. (Grimley) Bernard, 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 25, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth A. Bernard, Sr., who passed away in 2022. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, Margaret was the daughter of the late William P. and Alice M. (Kelly) Grimley.  Margaret worked for many years Citizens Bank and was known by all as the “Mayoress of Pawtucket”. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Teresa Church in Pawtucket where she served as both a member of the parish choir and a Eucharistic Minister. Margaret also loved children and was a longtime volunteer as a house mother at the children’s group homes.  Above all, Margaret enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past ninety years.  Margaret leaves a son, Kenneth A.
