Marcel "Chuck" Ruel

Pawtucket – Marcel “Chuck” Ruel, 84, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012.

He was the beloved husband of June M. (Harris) Ruel for fifty-seven years.

Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Joseph and Yvonne (Durand) Ruel, he resided in Pawtucket most of his life.

Chuck was a World War II U.S.

He was an inventory controller at ITT Royal Electric for many years before retiring in 1989.

He enjoyed videotaping weddings and was the proprietor of the former Marcel’s Video.

He also enjoyed tinkering on automobiles and in his workshop.

Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Linda M.

Ruel of East Providence and Laurie J.

Ostrander and her husband, Michael of Greene, RI; a son, David S.

Austin and his wife, Francesca of Attleboro; three grandchildren, Victoria, Stephanie and Ryan Austin and several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Roger Ruel, Simone Harnois, Yvette Morin, Renaud Ruel and Mary Dupre.

Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment with Military Honors will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.

VISITATION will be Sunday 2 to 5 p.m.
