Manuel Vieira Serodio

Pawtucket – Manuel Vieira Serodio, 83, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Maria Ines (Pimentel) Serodio for sixty years. Born in Portugal, a son of the late Antonio Vieira Serodio and Maria da Conceicao Vieira, he settled in Pawtucket on April 12, 1975. Manuel was employed by The Rhode Island Textile Company for over twenty-eight years before retiring as a Supervisor. Besides his wife, he leaves three children, Manny M. Vieira, Maria Cavallaro and Jose A. Vieira; two grandchildren, Stacey Semenkow and Jason Vieira and five great-grandchildren, Penelope Vieira, Ethan Semenkow, Jeremy Vieira, Mason Semenkow and Gwendolyn Vieira. He was the brother of the late Odilia Leite. His funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave. Interment will follow at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
