Manuel "Soisinha" F. Sousa

Pawtucket – Manuel “Soisinha” F. Sousa, 84, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Saturday, March 16, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Maria Ermelinda (Goulart) Sousa for sixty-two loving years. Born in Monte Pico, Azores, Portugal, he was the son of the late Jose Sousa Silveira and Josefa (Caterina) Sousa. Manuel worked for many years as a technician at Raytheon Military Defense Systems. He enjoyed working in his garden and making homemade wine. Manuel also loved spending time with his family, whom he was very proud of. He enjoyed laughing and even “resting his eyes” with family and friends alike while gathered around the family table. Above all, he was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
