Manuel M. Cardoso

Central Falls – Manuel M. Cardoso, 78, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Anelia B. (Coelho-Carvalho) Cardoso. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, he was one of thirteen children of the late Manuel C. and Maria M. (Frade) Pires. A veteran of the Portuguese Armed Forces, Manuel served his native country from 1962 to 1964. He immigrated to the United States in 1966 and became an American citizen in 2005. Manuel enjoyed fishing, dancing, playing cards, joking and gambling. Besides his wife he is survived by three children, Albertina Cardoso and her fiancé, Howard Dorrance, Jr., of Rehoboth, MA, Manuel B. Cardoso and his wife, Darlene, of Danielson, CT and Nina Riley and her husband, Mark, of Bellingham, MA; three grandchildren, Jordan Cardoso, Austin and Axel Riley and many nieces and nephews. Services and interment in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket, will be private. Visitation and floral tributes are respectfully omitted. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with WILLIAM W. TRIPP...
