Manuel Antonio Arruda

Pawtucket – Manuel Antonio Arruda, 73, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Evangelina (Mauricio) Arruda for forty-eight loving years. Together they would have celebrated their 49th anniversary on May 19th. Born on the island of São Miguel, Açores, Portugal, he was a son of the late José and Maria DosAnjos (Faria) Arruda. Manny worked for many years at American Insulated Wire, in Pawtucket, and was devoted to his family. He had a passion for farming and gardening and was an avid soccer fan. Above all, Manny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he has touched over the past seventy-three years. Besides his beloved wife, he leaves three sons, Mauricio Manuel Arruda and his wife, Daniela O.S.
