Malcolm P. Chrystie

East Providence – Malcolm “Mal” P. Chrystie, 89, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 21, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Lois F. (Franklin) Chrystie for sixty-two years. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Burnell) Chrystie. Mal grew up in Pawtucket and graduated from Tolman East High School in 1951. He worked in sales for several companies including the former Alperts of Seekonk, the former Anson’s of Cranston, and the former Ann & Hope of Cumberland. Mal and his wife were deeply rooted in their faith and were members of both, First Baptist Church and Park Place Congregational Church, both of Pawtucket. Mal was an eternal optimist who saw the world through rose-colored glasses. He had a wonderful disposition and carried himself with positivity and a smile.
