M. Atwood "Woody" Delano

Pawtucket – M. Atwood “Woody” Delano, 90, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015. He was the beloved husband of the late Louise H. (Doane) Delano, the late Anne “Chickie” (Russell) Delano, and the former husband of the late Roberta (Randall) Lother. Born in North Vassalboro, Maine, a son of the late Merton L. and Irma (Hutton) Delano, he resided in Attleboro and Cranston before moving to Pawtucket over twenty-five years ago. Woody was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and a member of VFW Post No. 14, Cumberland and VFW Post No. 2351, Smithfield. He was a truck driver for APA Transportation, Canton, Massachusetts for over forty years until retiring and was a member of Teamsters Local 25, Boston and Local 251, Providence. He leaves four children, David A. Delano and his wife, Suzanne MacDougall of Warren, Russell A. Delano and his wife, Janice of North Attleboro, JoAnne E.
