Kathleen (Campbell) Sweck, 79, passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on Sunday, November 1, 2020.
She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Sweck and Joseph W.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Senator Ambrose L. and Alice (Brannigan) Campbell.
Kathleen worked for many years as a secretary until her retirement.
She was an avid card player and hot rod enthusiast.
Kathleen loved frequenting many of the area car shows and cruise nights.
She also loved to travel and even seized the opportunity to live in Malaysia, Ireland and many states around the U.S.
Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Kathleen will be lovingly remembered by all of her family and dear friends.
She leaves two sons, Joseph K.
Furtado of Cumberland and Jeffrey C.
Furtado and his wife, Dorothy, of Pawtucket; a brother, Daniel Campbell in South Carolina; a sister, Judith McElroy of Hope Valley, Rhode Island; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was the loving mother of the late Karen J.
Meyette and the sister of the late Henry Campbell.
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions services will be held at a later date.
Flowers are respectfully omitted.
