Lynn M. Moran

Pawtucket – Lynn M. (L’Heureux) Moran, 59, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Friday, October 16, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Pawtucket District 1 City Councilor David P. Moran for thirty-six years.

A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Leo H. and Lorraine B. (Belgarde) L’Heureux. Lynn was the office manager at William W. Tripp Funeral Home until June of 2019 and was previously a secretary at the Gilbane Building Company.

She enjoyed political campaigns and was involved in the PTO at Flora Curtis School, Pawtucket, where she volunteered for school activities. Lynn also enjoyed crafts, painting, photography, scrapbooking and making holiday greeting cards. She was an avid Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and PawSox fan. Lynn also enjoyed cruising, Disney trips with her family, Hallmark movies and hosting her annual Christmas cookie swaps.

Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Janelle P. Kotak and her husband, Jonathan, of Attleboro; a son, Harrison D. Moran and his wife, Leiandra, of Bloomingdale, Georgia; two brothers, Dennis G. L’Heureux of Pawtucket and David R. L’Heureux and his wife, Susan, of New Hampshire; a sister, Diane M. LeBlanc and her husband, Kevin, of Seekonk, Massachusetts; four grandchildren, Diana Lorraine Kotak, Caroline James Kotak, Capri Eloise Moran and Julian Luca Moran; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Donna L. Balmforth and Linda L. Martin.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Ave., Pawtucket.
