Luis J. Perez

Perez, 74, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021, with his daughters by his side.

He was the beloved husband of the late Piedad (Velez) Perez, who passed away December 26, 2016.

Born in Belmira, Antioquia, Colombia, he was a son of the late Roberto A.

Perez Arango and Virgilia Rosa (Gaviria) de Perez.

Luis had a love for life.

He enjoyed good music, food, friends, traveling, and especially family.

He loved spending time with his dog, Tito.

He was well known and respected in the community and had friends everywhere he went.

He will be lovingly remembered by all.

Luis leaves three daughters, Dora Yasmid Perez Suescun in Colombia, Melissa Perez, and Catalina Perez both of Pawtucket; a grandson, Emmanuel Garcia Perez; a brother, Gerardo Perez of Central Falls, many nieces and nephews and the rest of his loving family in Colombia.

Services followed by interment at Rumford Cemetery with his late wife will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Pawtucket Animal Shelter, c/o Pawtucket P.D., 121 Roosevelt Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02860 would be appreciated.
