Pawtucket – Lucy M. (Caron) Rossi, 79, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021.
She was the beloved wife of Robert L.
Rossi for fifty-nine loving years.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Jules and Bertha (Duquenoy) Caron.
Lucy worked as a receptionist at Weight Watchers for thirty years until her retirement.
She was a longtime member of the South Attleboro Village Lions Club, for over thirty years, where she served in different capacities, namely, as president for two years, vice-president and most recently as the treasurer.
Lucy was also a recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellow Award, for her dedicated humanitarian work.
Lucy enjoyed gardening, tending to her plants, bicycling and exercise, caring for her beloved animals and spending time with her family and dear friends.
She will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past seventy-nine years.
Besides her beloved husband, Lucy leaves three children, Michael R.
Rossi and his wife, Sue, of Riverside, Donna L.
Conley and her husband, Robert, of Pawtucket, and Robert M.
Rossi of Exeter; three grandchildren, Cory Parker and his wife, Dianne, of Pawtucket, Brenda Parker of Pawtucket, and Violet Black of Brooklyn, NY; two great-grandchildren, Ava and Elliana Parker; a sister, Yvette Rybak and her husband, John, of Middleburg, FL, and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Jules “Chuck” Caron and Bertha D’Angelo, and the sister-in-law of the late Joan Caron and Vincent “Jim” D’Angelo.
Services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment will follow at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery.
VISITATION will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
