Lucille Maranda

Pawtucket – Lucille (Champagne) Maranda, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 22, 2021.

She was the beloved wife of the late William A.

A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late George and Marie (Bouchard) Champagne.

Lucille worked at various local manufacturing companies until her retirement at the age of fifty-six, when she began helping to raise her beloved granddaughter, Ashley.

She was a member of St.

Teresa Parish’s Senior Citizens Club and enjoyed traveling with the many friends she had in the club.

Above all, Lucille was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and dear friend, who will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past ninety-two years.

Lucille is survived by her daughter, Donna Gregson and her partner, Nicholas Lucca, of North Providence; her granddaughter, Ashley Gregson and her wife, Jennifer Porcelli, of Johnston; two nieces, Jeanne Kay in Florida (with whom Lucille was very close), and Donna Johnston of Rehoboth; a nephew, Donald Champagne in Florida; a former son-in-law, Donald Gregson and many dear friends and neighbors.

She was the sister of the late Omer Champagne and the aunt of the late Ronald Champagne.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment with her late husband at Notre Dame Cemetery will be private.
