Lucille R. Cournoyer

Pawtucket – Lucille R. (Grandpre) Cournoyer, 93, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E.

Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Emile and Anita (Lussier) Grandpre.

Lucille worked for many years as a bookkeeper in the construction industry until her retirement.

She was a longtime parishioner at St.

Teresa of the Child Jesus Church in South Attleboro and was a former member of the Christian Mother’s Association at the church.

Lucille enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading.

Lucille was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past ninety-three years.

Lucille leaves two daughters, Denise P.

Dubuc and her husband, Richard, of South Attleboro, and Michele M.

Cournoyer and her partner, Robert Nicholson of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Jeffrey L.

Dubuc and his wife, Elizabeth, and Evan L.

Dubuc and his wife, Kendra; four great-grandchildren, Hunter, Breyer, Benjamin, and Emma, and many nieces and nephews.

She was the grandmother of the late Eric Dubuc and Jonathan “Jon” Dubuc, and the sister of the late Roland Grandpre and Sr.

Pauline (Lucille) Grandpre.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11 a.m. in St.

Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, 18 Baltic St., South Attleboro.

The burial at Newell Burying Ground will be private.

VISITATION will be held on Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, RI.
