Lucille R. Cournoyer

Pawtucket – Lucille R. (Grandpre) Cournoyer, 93, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Cournoyer. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Emile and Anita (Lussier) Grandpre.  Lucille worked for many years as a bookkeeper in the construction industry until her retirement. She was a longtime parishioner at St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Church in South Attleboro and was a former member of the Christian Mother’s Association at the church. Lucille enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading.  Lucille was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past ninety-three years. Lucille leaves two daughters, Denise P. Dubuc and her husband, Richard, of South Attleboro, and Michele M. Cournoyer and her partner, Robert Nicholson of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Jeffrey L.
