Pawtucket – Lucien H.

Provost, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 30, 2013.

He was the beloved husband of the late Beatrice S. (Labonte) Provost.

Born in Montreal, P.Q., Canada, he was a son of the late Henri & Marie Reine (Vincent) Provost.

Lucien was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and then worked as a lab technician at Teknor Apex, Pawtucket over 40 years until his retirement.

He was a hard worker and a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.

Lucien enjoyed working in the yard and traveling.

He leaves three children, Lucille M., Robert L. and Raymond P.

Provost and his wife Jill, all of Pawtucket; four grandchildren, Brian, Brandon, Renee and Paul Provost; four siblings, Rita Perreault of Cumberland, Joseph Provost of Pawtucket and Rosemarie Longtin of Warwick, Roger Provost of South Attleboro and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Jeanette Courtemanche, Rolande Bussiere, Cecile Lemieux, Leo Provost and Henry Provost.

His funeral with Military Honors will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.

Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.

VISITATION will be Thursday 5 to 8 p.m.
