Pawtucket – Lucien E.
Palardy, 91, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 24, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
He was the beloved husband of Rita D. (Poulin) Palardy for sixty-seven years.
Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Leopold and Olympia (Parent) Palardy.
Lucien was a veteran of the U.S.
Air Force and proudly served his country during the Korean War.
He worked as a machine operator at the former Corning Glass Works, Central Falls, for nearly fifty years prior to retiring.
Lucien was an avid Red Sox fan who enjoyed playing golf and loved spending quality time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by seven children, Susan Drouin and her husband, Raymond, of Mattapoisett, Cynthia Coulombe and her husband, Alfred, of Coventry, Lynne Caliri and her husband, John, of Smithfield, Alan Palardy and his wife, Jennifer, of Saint Thomas, Donald Palardy and his wife, Renee, of Rehoboth, John Palardy of Smithfield and Tracey Smith and her husband, Peter, of Woonsocket; sixteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and was predeceased by his nine other siblings.
He was the father of the late Carol Campbell and grandfather of the late Thomas Campbell.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, beginning with visitation at 9:00 a.m. followed by Services at 10:00 a.m. in WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment with Military Honors will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St.
Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St.
Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
