Lucien "Duke" Duquette

Pawtucket – Lucien “Duke” Duquette, 92, a retired painter, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Cora M. (Choiniere) Duquette. Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Philias and Leda (Pincince) Duquette, he resided in Central Falls and Pawtucket most of his life. Duke was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. Besides his wife, he leaves five children, Roger Duquette, Rachel Santuri and Susan Cooney all of Florida, Russell Duquette of Bristol and Rene Duquette of Cape Cod; two brothers, Norman and Camille Duquette; a sister, Carmen Duquette; five grandchildren, Denise, Debbie, Emily, Alyssa and Brandon and five great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Lucille Latraverse. His funeral with Military Honors will be held Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Committal Service at 10 a.m. at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
