O’Brien, 85, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Michael J. and Olive M. (Snadd) O’Brien.

Louise lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

She was a woman of great kindness, whose heart was always open to friends and family.

She delighted in the simple pleasures of life, especially sharing meals at her favorite restaurants with loved ones.

Louise worked for many years at Amica Insurance, where she made lasting contributions and lifelong friendships.

Her career was a meaningful part of her life, and she took great pride in her work and the relationships she built.

Those who knew her will remember her warm spirit, her generosity, and her unwavering love for the people in her life.

She leaves behind a legacy of strength and kindness, reminding us all of the importance of sharing our lives with those we care about.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Louise leaves her sister, Brenda J.

O’Brien of Providence; her brother-in-law, Robert E.

Metivier of Pawtucket; niece and nephew, Kim and Rob Arico of North Providence; her best friend, Margaret “Peg” Pacheco of Greenville and many cousins, extended family, friends and co-workers.

She was the sister of the late Carol A.

Metivier, the aunt of the late Michael E.

Metivier and the longtime companion of the late Robert Santucci.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, November 15th at 1 p.m. in St.

Raymond Church, 1240 North Main St., Providence.

Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Pawtucket.

Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.

Vincent de Paul Society at St.

Raymond Parish, 1240 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 or HopeHealth Hospice, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated.
