Louise H. Delano

Pawtucket – Louise H. (Doane) Delano, 72, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014.

She was the beloved wife of Merton “Woody” Atwood Delano for thirty-eight years.

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Walter H. and Helen M. (Flynn) Doane, she resided in Attleboro before moving to Pawtucket over twenty-five years ago.

Louise was an avid reader and enjoyed crafts.

Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Elaine Berg and her husband, Sean of Pawtucket and Cheryl Tremblay and her husband, Norman of Cumberland; four step-children, David A.

Delano and his wife, Suzanne MacDougall of Bristol, Russell A.

Delano and his wife, Janice of North Attleboro, JoAnne Ludwig and her husband, Zac of Nevada and Robert Delano of Pawtucket; a sister, Cindy Brown and her husband, Pete of Ashland, MA; a brother, Ronald Doane and his wife, Evelyn of South Attleboro; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and her beloved bird “Sonny”.

She was the stepmother of the late Patricia Delano and Elizabeth Marsh.

VISITATION will begin Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by Services at 10 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston.
