Lorraine M. Read

November 25, 1928 — October 12, 2015

Attleboro – Lorraine M. (Leonard) Read, 86, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Life Care Center, Attleboro, after a lengthy illness.

She was the beloved wife of Clifford A.

Born in Meriden, CT, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Ida (Cote) Leonard.

In her younger days, Lorraine enjoyed horseback riding, crocheting and being a mother.

She was happiest keeping a lovely home and loved being with her family.

As her children grew and became more independent she worked outside the home at the Foxon Company as a quality inspector, retiring after many years of faithful service.

After she and Cliff retired they enjoyed traveling – seeing Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Alaska, several islands of the Caribbean and Bermuda.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she will be sadly missed and fondly remembered, and above all we will miss her laugh.

Lorraine leaves four children, Lori Ann Sigley and her husband, Wayne of Ocala, FL, Lisa M.

Dolbashian and her husband, Paul of Smithfield, Clifford J.

Read and his wife, Susan of Cranston and Lynn M.

Robinson and her husband, Patrick of Attleboro; six grandchildren, Anthony, Michelle and Kerrie Dolbashian, Scott Robinson, Kevin Read and Aly Robinson and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Walter, Roger, Robert and Daniel Leonard.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 8 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St.

Mary Church, 14 Park St., North Attleborough.

Interment will follow at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.

VISITATION Friday 4 to 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St.

Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O.

Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148 will be appreciated.
