Lorraine T. Hunter

Warwick – Lorraine T. (Poulin) Hunter, 86, of Warwick, formerly of Pawtucket, went to her eternal rest on Monday, November 11, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of C. Earl Hunter. Lorraine was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Adelard and Gladys (Hakanson) Poulin. Lorraine graduated in 1946 from the former East High School (Tolman) in Pawtucket. She was formerly employed by several local department stores most notably the former New York Lace Store; Shartenberg’s Department Store and Cherry & Webb. Lorraine liked to travel. She and her husband Earl loved Ballroom Dancing as well as playing cards with friends and family. Besides her beloved husband, she leaves her loving daughter, Cheryl A. Nelson and son-in-law, Dennis J. Nelson of Cranston. She was the proud grandmother of Brad Nelson of Cranston, Brian Nelson of Boston and Kristen (Nelson) Fessler and her husband, Matthew Fessler of Denver, CO.
