Lorraine T. Fournier

North Smithfield – Lorraine T. (Marot) Fournier, 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Eric J. Fournier who passed in 2013. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Armand and Alice (Cote) Marot. Lorraine was a Sister of the Holy Union of the Sacred Hearts (SUSC) for twenty-five years. She taught at St. Cecilia School in Pawtucket, and then became principal. She was also an accomplished pianist. Lorraine left religious life and continued to serve as a religious education teacher in local parishes. Lorraine was a lifelong communicant of St. Cecilia Church, Parish of St. John Paul II in Pawtucket and will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past ninety-one years. She leaves many beloved nieces and nephews and was the sister of the late Lucille Cheltra, Aline LeClair, Anita Tousignant, George Marot, Normand Marot, Ernest Marot, and Rev. Roger Marot.
