Lorraine “Lori” E. (Howe) Romano, 66, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
She was the beloved wife of Allen A.
Romano for forty-one loving years.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Ronald Howe of Smithfield and the late Beatrice (LaFerriere) Howe.
Lori worked tirelessly to support her family.
She most recently worked for nearly 30 years as an executive assistant for the Ferland Corporation.
She also worked for many years at Lincoln Park and Twin River as a mutuel clerk.
She enjoyed traveling, cruising, backyard gardening, couponing, and spending time with friends and family.
She especially loved Pugs and French Bulldogs.
She also had a lifelong crush on Tom Selleck.
Lori will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she has touched over the past sixty-six years.
Beside her beloved husband, Lori leaves two sons, Michael A.
Romano of Woonsocket, and Nicholas W.
Romano and his wife, Brenda Sim, of Northbridge, Massachusetts; her beloved aunt, Linda A.
Agostinelli of East Providence, and her grand-dog, Barret Bernard Sim.
May she also reunite with her beloved Xena and Zeus.
The funeral will be held on Monday, August 19th at 12 p.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. at St.
Raymond Church, 1240 North Main St., Providence.
Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Johnston.
VISITATION will be held on Sunday, August 18th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Friends of Homeless Animals, 226 Indian Trail, Saunderstown, RI 02874 would be appreciated.
