Attleboro - Lorraine V. (Beaupre) Caruthers, 83, of South Attleboro, passed away at home on Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
She was the beloved wife of Morris Caruthers for 65 years.
A lifelong resident of South Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Rhea (Gauvin) Beaupre.
Lorraine worked for Superior Plastics in Cumberland, for many years until her retirement.
She enjoyed traveling, attending her grand and great-grandchildren’s sports games and playing card games with her great-grandchildren.
Above all, Lorraine was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend.
Besides her loving husband, she leaves four children, Gail A.
Case and her husband, John, III, of Attleboro, Robert M.
Caruthers of South Attleboro, Keith G.
Caruthers and his wife, Kim, of Olive Hill, KY and Marc M.
Caruthers and his wife, Rebecca, of Rehoboth; eight grandchildren, John Case, IV, Ryan Case, Jason Case, Kevin Case, Derrick Case, Marc Caruthers, Austin Caruthers and Logan Caruthers; eleven great-grandchildren, Sophie, Christian, Cameron, Noah, Alexis, Madison, Mason, Ariana, Cody, Mya and Jalen Case; two sisters, Annette Murphey of Ocala, FL and Claire Reynolds of Cumberland and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Lucille Cui, Hector Beaupre, Helen Beaupre and Ronald Beaupre.
Lorraine’s family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the tender and caring staff of the Life Care Center of Attleboro, where Lorraine resided comfortably for the past two years.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.
Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, 18 Baltic St., South Attleboro.
Interment at Newell Burying Ground will be private.
VISITATION will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
