Lorice Hallal

Cumberland – Lorice (Samra) Hallal, 92, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, March 7, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Hallal, Sr. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Amir) Samra. Lorice resided in Pawtucket before moving to Cumberland twenty-five years ago. She was a dental assistant for her brother, Dr. Joseph Samra, until retiring and was previously co-owner, with her late husband, of Luigi’s Pizza, South Attleboro for twenty-five years.  Lorice was a lifelong active member of St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church. She was a member of the Ladies Society, served on several committees and helped cooking for various church functions. She enjoyed puzzles, playing cards and cooking. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
