Lois M. Trombley

Pawtucket – Lois M. (Farran) Trombley, 91, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 25, 2023.

She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene J.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Gwendolyn B. (Cadwgan) Farran.

Lois graduated from the former Pawtucket East High School in 1950 and was a lifelong resident of the city.

She worked at the former FRAM in East Providence and worked in retail at Ben Franklin and Woolworth, both formerly of Pawtucket.

Lois dedicated her life to tending to her family and her home.

She enjoyed knitting and spending time with her beloved cats.

She is survived by a son, James “Jim” Trombley of Pawtucket; two grandchildren, Leah Trombley of East Providence, and Katelyn Trombley of Pawtucket; three great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Ella and a baby girl due in December; a sister, Beverly Farran and several nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Jeffrey Edward Trombley, and sister of the late Phyllis Procter.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, beginning with VISITATION at 10:00 AM and concluding with Services at 11:00 a.m. in WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment with her late husband will follow at Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence.
