Lloyd "Rusty" G. Rhodes, Sr.

Pawtucket – Lloyd “Rusty” G. Rhodes, Sr., 75, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 14, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Frances E. (Downey) Rhodes for fifty-one years. Born in Greenville, Ohio, he was a son of the late George F. and Accle Lottie (Wicker) Rhodes. Rusty resided in Pawtucket for the past four years, he previously resided in East Greenwich for nine years and had resided in Providence most of his married life. Rusty served in the United States Navy. He had been a manager and baker for Dunkin’ Donuts and was also a cab driver in Warwick and Newport. Rusty was an avid outdoorsman, he especially enjoyed fishing and hunting. Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Tammy Ward and Kimberly Estrada both of Pawtucket; a son, Lloyd G. Rhodes, Jr. and his wife, Cheryl of Pawtucket; a sister, Rachel Jones in Ohio; a brother, Paul Rhodes in Indiana; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
