Pawtucket – Lisa C. (Ribeiro) Medeiros, 50, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, June 11, 2023.
She was the beloved wife of Raymond J.
Medeiros, Jr., for twenty years.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a twin daughter of Francisco A. and Maria J. (Dos Reis) Ribeiro.
Lisa attended CCRI where she earned her associate degree in liberal arts and went on to a career in retail sales.
She was a talented accordion player and participated in many Portuguese Ranchos and folklore groups.
Lisa also enjoyed arts and crafts and created many imaginative and stylish needlepoint designs.
She was an avid reader and loved to complete crossword puzzles and word searches.
Above all else, Lisa was devoted to her family.
She was a doating aunt who loved to spoil her niece and nephew, and her family was her top priority.
Lisa loved being with family for holidays and special occasions, taking trips with her parents and sister to Portugal to visit family and friends, and she always acknowledged birthdays and special occasions with a card or special gift.
She will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past fifty years.
Her beautiful smile and warm bear hugs will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
Along side her beloved husband and parents, Lisa leaves her twin sister, Carla Ribeiro-Bachtell and her husband, James A.
Bachtell of Alexandria, Virginia; her niece and nephew, Emilia A.
Bachtell and Jackson R.
Bachtell both of Alexandria, Virginia; her father-in-law, Raymond J.
Medeiros, Sr. of Somerset, and two sisters-in-law, Debora A.
Gillet of Somerset, and Sandra L.
She was the daughter-in-law of the late Judith E.
The funeral will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.
Cecilia Church of St.
John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment will follow at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery.
VISITATION will be held on Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Epilepsy Foundation New England, 650 Suffolk St., Unit 405, Lowell, MA 01854 would be appreciated.
