Pawtucket – Lionel “Lee” W. Messier, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 12, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Carol M. (Bois) Messier, the couple celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on October 1, 2017. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Armand J. and Florence (Brochu) Messier. Lee was employed by Landry & Martin Oil Company for 25 years until retiring as a Service Manager over 10 years ago. He was previously employed by McKee Brothers Oil Co., Cumberland for 10 years. Lee was a member of the Drifters of Rhode Island Antique Car Club and was an avid Red Sox fan. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Lee J. Messier and his wife, Dawn; two grandsons, Joshua and Christopher Messier; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Conrad Girard all of Pawtucket and several nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Friday, October 20th at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m....
