Lillinoe E. Laroche

Lillinoe Eleanor "Bungo" Laroche, 86, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully at home on August 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 11th, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Vincent Bungo and Lily (Kaawaloa) Bungo.

Lily proudly served her country in the United States Air Force. It was during her military service that she met the love of her life, Arthur Rene Laroche. They shared 65 wonderful years together, building a life centered on love, sacrifice, devotion, and family until Arthur's passing on September 11th, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur Rene Laroche. Her cherished sons, Craig Laroche and Eric Laroche. Her beloved grandsons Corey Choquet and Tyler Gardner and great-grandson Ryan Laroche. Three brothers, Vincent, Robert and Ewart; one sister Dorcas.

Lily is lovingly survived by her daughters, Arlene Bertrand and her husband, James. Brenda Laroche and her late husband, Jesse Baker. Denise Choquet and her partner, Henry Gardner. Jr., and Francine Laroche; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy; as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Family was the heart of Lily's life. She treasured every opportunity to be surrounded by those she loved, playing cards, or simply enjoying one another's company. She was well known for her famous quote "As is", her love for bingo and a good card game. She looked forward to trips to the casino, where she made countless memories in the bingo hall. Her warm smile, caring heart, and unwavering love for her family left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Lily's legacy is one of love, strength, and devotion. She will be deeply missed, but the memories she created and the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.

In accordance with Lily's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Her family asks that she be remembered through the love she shared, the laughter she inspired, and the precious moments spent together.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket.
